UBER fun!
September 29, 2009What a hoot! This bridal party rocked it out. They were such troopers as it was getting pretty chilly outside and the girls had to rely on the guys to get them up on that lift. Yes, such troopers, but hopefully worth it.

We’re up in Breckenridge this weekend for a wedding and I’m the photographer. The scenery and surroundings are just gorgeous, seriously one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

If you don’t here from me in a week, just forward all my things to Breckenridge, CO-address to be determined, he/he.
Until I can get a Tilt/Shift lens, I just fake it in photoshop.

I can’t believe it. Gryphon is almost 1 year old. Time to plan the party and get the cake ready, but in the meantime… check out this cuteness, and my fake floor. Mom, it came from ABC distributing.

I love the challenge of photographing rings. I always try and find unique/creative ways to photograph them and often look for random things in nature to use. This is a branch of a birch tree and the little nub sticking up was the perfect platform for bling!

I spent the day yesterday, dodging the rain and getting to photograph a beeeautiful wedding.

I will let these pics speak for themselves, although they certainly don’t do the event justice. Just magical.

We got up super early to watch our Balloons launch and Andrew was a trooper. I was soooo proud of him. no complaining when we rolled him out of bed at 4:45am. He was excited to see the balloons and even did a little free advertising for a local tax company. Check out Lady (I mean Mr.) Liberty.

I love newborn pictures. I love all the props, all the little pouts and tiny parts. What is amazing to me is the amount of patience you need to really do newborn photography. This little sweetheart did not want to sleep. Thankfully her momma is a photographer and had some tricks up her sleeve, but I quickly realized I don’t think I’m cut out to do this on a regular basis. It really gave me a lesson in patience and that’s not my strongest attribute.

But, I did manage to get a few shots and this was one of my favorites.
It’s killing me not to be able to get to these shots, but I am sooooo behind in my editing that I just have to force myself not to look for too long. But I can assure you that you will want to run and get some tempura paint and try it for yourself. The most fun/creative I’ve felt in quite some time and it was not even my idea or vision.
