Ohmygoodness… I’m so touched!!!  I took photos for a 50th anniversary for a family recently and received this in the mail today from the wife. 

It’s handmade and beeeeautiful!  I know just how I am going to use it too… for my yarn.  It’s perfect.  When you feel prompted to do something for someone, don’t dismiss the voice for it can truly make that persons day!

I want a photo like this of the 4 of us.  I just love the “from above” angle.  There’s something so whimsical and fun about it, especially with all the green grass from the summer.  

All this rain has made our grass look so wonderfully lush and green.  Even those dirt areas under the tree are filling in with grass/plants.  Who knows when we’ll have another summer like this.

Meet Merle, my new sister who comes to us all the way from Estonia.  My in-laws have been writing/communicating with her for the last year and half, and she decided to come visit.  We’ve had the pleasure of getting to know her over the past week as she’s come to Colorado all the way from Estonia and she’ll be here for another week and we’ve discovered that we both have a lot in common.  I am grateful to have met her and look forward to getting to know her better.

She has totally spoiled us by bringing us coffee and chocolate from Sweden, Germany and Estonia.  She also created the cutest coloring books for our boys, she’s definitely a keeper!!  We all have fallen in love with her and can’t wait until we plan our trip to Estonia to meet her family.

The delicate meets the intense.  I wish I got out and took flower shots more often, it’s always so soothing.

For me, it isn’t summer until we’ve roasted some marshmellows.  I like mine burnt, what about you?

William and I are so blessed.  Both sets of parents are still in love, going strong.  We realize just how fortunate we are and catching them in moments like this puts big smiles on our faces.  

Oh boy!  I’m fully addicted to yarn my friends.  There’s NO turning back now and I’ve been creating left and right. 

I just finished this sweet little ditty last night, ain’t it cute?

The best thing about this hat is I came up with it on my own.  Now you KNOW I’ve been spending way to much time around the knitting/crocheting sites.

When I saw their belt buckles, I knew I needed to do a symmetry shot.

This little guy made my heart swell.
