This ring is NOT tiny, but the pinecone it’s resting on, is. I always try to get a creative shot of the ring when possible and look for things that symbolize the shoot. Since we shot their engagement pictures at the park, I thought the grass and pinecone fit.

I just realized how opposite my last two posts were. I go from something extreme on the wide side, to something to tiny and detailed. I crack myself up.
Oh, and I’m so excited. I finally got a handle on my spam, thanks to several kind souls and Askimet. In the last 4 hours, Askimet has blocked over 79 spam messages. Hallelujah!
Once again, we fought the Colorado crazy weather and had a super fun session. This couple is getting married in September and there will be cowboy boots, corn fields and maybe a combine!

I’m too emotional to write much tonight, but tomorrow is my Andrew’s birthday. He will turn 3 at 6:34pm.

While at the zoo, we got to witness something straight out of National Geographic. A male peacock was wooing the woman he loved right before our eyes. You could hear the vibration of his feathers and the anticipation in his bones. He was shaking with excitement, while the female totally played “hard to get.” It was so cool. About 40 of us were standing around, taking pictures, chattering amongst ourselves and just observing the process. Talk about invasion of privacy, poor couple.

My FIL got some really cool video, I’ll have to see if I can’t figure out how to load it.
anyone up for a little gardening?

Oh man, I’m such a SUCKER for marketing. I love to read descriptions and adjectives on products. I love to look and “oo and awe” over packaging. It does not matter what the product is, I will read just about anything and I will drool over great presentation. I’m a very visual person. I only wish I had the ability to actually write, but since I don’t… I will continue to be sucked in by those who do have that talent.

This coffee is a prime example. I’ve never bought this coffee and never even really paid attention to it. But… this description totally sucked me in and I had to give it a try. Way to go Allegro brand, you caught me!
The good news? It tastes reeeeeeeally good!
I just got done processing a few shots for my SIL to give to her hubby for his birthday. She wanted soft and faded colors and here are just a few. Amazing what you can do in minutes when you are determined and cold. It was comical as we were taking pictures faster than lightening, quite a silly site.

Crazy thing…the snow is all melted now-that is Springtime in the Rockies for ya!
We had a couple feet of snow dump on us over the last 24 hours. We didn’t dare venture out yesterday as the worst of it (so we thought) was happening and it was a white-out. However…today was not much better up where my inlaws live, but we had to get out and play just in case this is it for the season. Of course, we all know better and it won’t be the last of our storms.

Yea…wearing jeans sure was not the smartest thing I’ve ever done.
If I were a fashion/portrait photographer, I think I’d be taking shots of her daily. This is my beeeeautiful sister -in-law, Promise.

You’d never know (at least I don’t think you would) that we took this shot in the middle of a blizzard rolling in. We had scheduled some time to get some shots for my BIL for his birthday, of her and the boys and due to her work schedule, this was the only time we could do it. We had originally planned for some “summer” type shots and well… no summer to be found, only more winter. Thankfully we did have about 10minutes to get in a few shots and she was such a trooper-she hates the cold.
