We braved the bitter temps and had the fastest photo-shoot ever.

I knew this was going to be fun when they said they wanted to look like a young, engaged couple in their photos. Whoo-hoo!

I am beyond blessed to be married to my best friend. I cannot imagine life without him. In fact… it is one of my biggest fears. There are days where the fear of possibly loosing him plagues me to the point of not being able to function properly. William is my life, and my love. Thankfully I don’t live in a state of fear and am constantly asking God to help me through some of my personal struggles. I have to realize that I am not in control. Once I can get a hold of that fact, I am much better.
I cannot WAIT until we get to celebrate our 50th anniversary like this beautiful couple recently did.

Thank you God for loaning William to me and I promise for as long as you’ll let me, I’ll love him with all of me. I promise to take good care of him and strive to compliment him in every possible way. I am so in love with him and ask you to give us 50+ years together.
William and I are so blessed. Both sets of parents are still in love, going strong. We realize just how fortunate we are and catching them in moments like this puts big smiles on our faces.

So much of the time, we photographers look for shade to shoot in and can forget how glorious the sun can be. The good thing about finding the light is that we have a ton of it around here.

Bring on the sun!

I love to photograph weddings, but I have to say that families are a close second. I just love relationship.

I think this little sweetheart looks like she wants to take off, don’t you? Once she figures out how, there will be no stopping her.

This sweetheart stole the show! She was such a well-behaved little girl, it really impressed me. Lots of smiles and playing with the camera. Oh, and mom and dad were pretty well-behaved too, he/he.
I had the chance to go someplace completely new to me too, smack-dab downtown Denver. The Capitol building on one side, the Mint on the other and park square right in the center, it was really cool and I found out quickly I could easily be a downtown resident should we ever feel like urban life.

Thank you ALL for your wonderful comments on my last post. Although I certainly was not fishing for ego-boost, you sure know how to deliver nonetheless. It’s been something plaguing me for quite sometime and I just felt I needed to get it out before it started to really weigh me down. Oh, and the comment from my Dad of all people? THAT was a bonus. I always give my parents a hard time for not commenting, so that was pretty special.
So there it is and the photo above proved to me I can still be myself even when trying popular “poses.”
My FIL came home for the weekend and the boys were so happy to see him. Speaking of my FIL, he had an interview here in Denver last week and we’re hoping/praying that he’ll get the job so he can come home.

My SIL found my nephew this fabulous little candy bow-tie to wear-isn’t it cute?

Dewey got a few Thomas the Train things in his Easter basket-he was in heaven. Here is Ree, reading him a story. Oh, and check out my little sharp dressed man. He even kept his hat on for more than a minute.

He most definitely has my little up-turned nose. I thought this little profile was the sweetest.

So seriously…what event is complete without balloon animals?

Draco had us ALL in stitches…WHAT.ON.EARTH is he doing?

Gryphon approves of the treat we put in his Easter basket. Organic, vanilla teething biscuit-yum.
I really am blessed to have such a wonderful family.
