Abstract tulip.

April 22, 2010

I’m working on making some photo notecards for my mom, per her request and got the chance to photograph some amazing tulips while in nashville last weekend.  Wow.  The sun coming through them make them illuminate and I can’t wait until she sees the finished project.  Here’s one that totally reminded me of fire.

One of those times a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Ice!!

October 27, 2009

We don’t get a ton of this coating ice, so it’s really cool when we do.  Or should I say, it’s cool to me?  I know I’m strange, that’s been proven time and time again, but I just LOVE snow and ice.

I love to step on it and make it go crunch, crunch, crunch under my feet.

Goodbye summer!

Today, it’s about 17degrees outside and frozen.  I look at this image from just a month ago and am amazed.

I could move here.

September 27, 2009

We’re up in Breckenridge this weekend for a  wedding and I’m the photographer.  The scenery and surroundings are just gorgeous, seriously one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

I will let these pics speak for themselves, although they certainly don’t do the event justice.  Just magical.

Summer weather.

August 10, 2009

For about 20minutes, it was a site to behold outside.  All 4 of us stood at the window and watched, the boys so excited.  Andrew asked if it was snowing and we had to explain to him exactly what it was.  Well… in 3-year old speak of course.

I always love it when there is a rainbow after the storm.

Yes… technically dandelions are weeds.  But, they are YELLOW weeds and in my mind that makes them acceptable.  I know they are a pain to get rid of and can take over a yard, but as props… they are A+!

Nature’s textures.

July 26, 2009

The delicate meets the intense.  I wish I got out and took flower shots more often, it’s always so soothing.
