Swim lessons may have come to a close, but I know this certainly won’t be the last time the boys take lessons. They really loved it and Andrew worked through a ton of his fear, I was so proud of him and got to see him in all his glory today for their last lesson. Bittersweet? Only for a momma who is watching her little man grow up.

PREGNANT!
Our due date in January 15th, so I’m still really early, but we did have our first ultrasound and saw the gummy bear and the heartbeat on the screen. We’re over our initial shock now and just trying to keep everything down and stay rested.
I have a new blog coming soon, had it designed and everything, so it should be really coolio. In the meantime, if you could just say a little prayer for us when you think of it, we’d really appreciate it.
Jill/Twipply Skwood: Oh congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (visiting from 2peas).
Samantha: How did I miss this news? Congratulations!!!!!
April: just want to say congrats!!! i am so happy for you!
Chell: So Happy for you guys!!
Where you just want to curl up into a ball and forget the world? Thankfully I don’t have too many of these, but every so often one peeks through.

But on the bright side… it’s snowing outside and everyone knows how much I love my snow!
Jena Photography: I love this!!!
kristie: just lovely
April: I love this one! I think this has to be one of my absolute favorites of yours!
I’m working on making some photo notecards for my mom, per her request and got the chance to photograph some amazing tulips while in nashville last weekend. Wow. The sun coming through them make them illuminate and I can’t wait until she sees the finished project. Here’s one that totally reminded me of fire.

Margaret: I love that! Your mom is going to love her gift, I'm sure! Good to see you on POTD again!
annabelle gardner: wow it does look like fire with the light shining through....LOVE the abstract of it :)
denita: That's going to be an awesome set of notecards! This is BEAUTIFUL, heather!
Joanne: Beautiful! Love that it's different .
Yolanda: Beautiful!
Samantha: Wow! That is absolutely incredible!
Katie: Gorgeousl!! I just took some pics of our tulips (with our humble little camera)...and one of the pics looks doctored ~ it's so bright red, but I did nothing! Your photography is very beautiful! Just stopping by!
Nicki: Fire was the first thing I thought of. Gorgeous flower and beautifully photographed.
Pat: This is wonderful! I love the fact that you went in for the abstractedness (if that's a word...) and really like the light coming through. It does play up the fiery nature of the shot.
Esther: Beeeeautiful Heather! Absolutely stunning. I love how you've composed it and the focus and DOF and the "abstractness" is perfect.
April: That is absolutely gorgeous. Tulips are one of my favorites flowers. :)
I didn’t take it obviously, my friend rachel did and she did a great job. I think it sums me up nicely. Slightly goofy, with a twist of serious

Robyn: I agree with April. . . .BEAUTIFUL!
Momma: That's our beautiful girl and we love her. Momma and Daddy
April: Beautiful!
Merle Ryytel: I LOVE YOU, Heather!!! What a great smile you've got! Makes me smile too :)
Monica: Oooh - Heather, I love it!
This is my Nana and my Aunt Lillian. Are they not the cutest? I’m so proud of my Finnish heritage, even if I don’t like pickled stuff.

Thanks to everyone who checks in on me (especially you mom.)
I’ve got big changes to the blog happening over the next few months, including a fancy-schmancy new logo which I’m so excited about.
Anyway, please excuse the dust in advance.
It’s always fun to try and incorporate special items into photoshoots. This little baby is being watched over by his mommas bear. The bear was hers when she was a baby. Such a priceless “prop.”

Suzy: That "is" a priceless prop. And it makes for a priceless capture as well. Nice job!
annabelle gardner: its perfect :)
tori: So sweet! Love that it was his momma's bear....
Pat: Oh, this is priceless, Heather! How significant to the mom... And I love the quilt; it plays off all those lovely skin tones. Wonderful photo.
Yolanda: what a sweet photo!
Maria1319: Love the quilt on the bed, too! There's so much charm and sentiment on this picture! Sweet baby!
Marcy: So sweet! Your photography is always awesome!
cindi: super sweet...and I love the significance!!
Meaghan: Beautiful! I love everything about this. :)
Joanne: this is just precious. How neat to add something that was loved by mom.
Angela2932: What a sweet shot! Beautifully cropped and nice contrast between the "new" and the "old."
Nessa: So so cute!! I love it when they have little lovey's too!!
jess: LOVE LOVE LOVE! There is so much emotion pouring through this shot... beautiful! <3
Janae Cooper: Heather I got your cute package today! I am so excited to use it. Now I need to find me a newborn! Thanks again!
Amy: love the title, love the image, love the emotion! You're awesome Heather!
Angela2932: Awwww!!! Such a heart-warming shot! What a great capture!
Nicki: Lovely shot. I can see why you include it as one of your "standard" poses - though nothing standard about it. It is so sincere.
barbershophq.Com: Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. But just imagine if you added some great graphics or video clips to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this site could certainly be one of the best in its niche. Terrific blog!
